Courney Love Antiheroine Documentary
Llewellyn Associates is proud to announce that Director of Photography Magdalena Kowalczyk's latest work, Antiheroine, has premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. The documentary offers an uncompromising look at the life and legacy of singer, songwriter, and actor Courtney Love.
Directed by Edward Lovelace and James Hall, Antiheroine arrives as Love prepares to release new music for the first time in over a decade, marking a powerful return for the artist who has left an indelible mark on rock and pop culture.
Kowalczyk' captures the complexity and intensity that define Love's journey - from her "love at first sound" connection with Kurt Cobain, to her groundbreaking music career and electrifying film work, to her evolution into hard-won self-awareness. After years of having her story told by others, Love now speaks entirely on her own terms.
"Don't do it until you can't hold it in anymore," Love reflected on the process of creating her new album — an ethos that pulses through every frame of Antiheroine.
Magdalena Kowalczyk is represented by Llewellyn Associates for commercial, narrative, and documentary work.
